Flo Elizabeth Stottlemyer, 93, of Hagerstown, passed away, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at her home.

Born December 7, 1929, in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Hilary and Florence Elizabeth (Daymude) Ahalt.

Flo was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wilbur Stottlemyer Sr.

She was a homemaker, and keeping the perfect home for her family was very important to her. She also worked cleaning other facilities in her lifetime.

She was a former member of Emmanuel Baptist Temple.

She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline K. Vollmar Stottlemyer and Sandra K. Snyder and husband, Mark; three sons, Clarence W. Stottlemyer, Jr., and wife, Fay, Leonard James Stottlemyer, Sr. and wife, Gloria, and John Robert Stottlemyer Sr.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Gladys Barr, Katherine Miller, and Phyllis Noland; brothers, James Ahalt, Conord Ahalt, William Ahalt, and Jack Ahalt; daughter-in-law, Oletta Stottlemyer; a grandson; and four nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 6pm, at Stone House Urban Winery, 12810 Shank Farm Way, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
