Mrs. Faye Etta Appenzellar, age 80, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025.

Born on April 25, 1945, Faye worked as a freight processor at Kohl's before retiring.

Faye was a member of Mount Calvary Church of God in Clear Spring, Maryland.

She is survived by her children: daughters, Karen Denn, Lorie (Ron) Bachtell, and Melissa (Evan) Carr; and her sons, Steven (Sarah) Appenzellar and Michael (Allison) Appenzellar. She is also survived by the following grandchildren: Kimberly, Jeremy (Sarah), Joshua, Noah (Brianna), Taylor, Gage (Katherine), Zachary, Peyton, Oliver and Eleanor; and Great Grandchildren: Aaliyah, Sophia, Kaylee and Weston. Faye is also survived by two sisters, Linda (Charles) Schelle and Peg Hutson; and her beloved dog, Daisy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Appenzellar.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 10-11am at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD where a memorial service will follow from 11am-Noon.
