EVELYN LOUISE MCMULLEN, 79, formerly of 3 Willow Spring Court, Germantown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, April 06, 2004 at the Washington County Hospital. Born January 25, 1925 in Travilah, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Helen Ward Shipe. She graduated from Gaithersburg High School in 1944, and also graduaated from the Washington Bible Institute in 1952 with a teaching degree. She was employed with the Asbury United Methodist Home, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Derwood Alliance Church in Derwood, Maryland. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Lowell McMullen of Hagerstown; one son, Lowell McMullen of Hagerstown; and two grandchildren, Scott McMullen of Hagerstown, and Kelly Seely of Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard.
