EVELYN MARY BARNHART, 100, formerly of 2602 Bennies Hill Road, Middletown, Maryland, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at North Hampton Manor in Frederick, Maryland. Born January 2, 1907 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Florence Loudenslager Rummel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ernest Barnhart in 1972. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Etchison, Maryland. She is survived by one son, Eugene W. Barnhart in Middletown, Maryland and one step son, Edgar Barnhart. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Gelwicks, Hilda Kretzer and Mildred Chambrose; three brothers, John Rummel, Harold Rummel and Harry Rummel.
