Erma Alice Moser, age 89, passed away on August 17, 2024, in Chambersburg, PA. Born on June 16, 1935, in Junior, WV, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Eileen (Row) Right.

A proud graduate of Maryland Medical Secretary School, Erma's professional journey was characterized by both an attentive spirit and a meticulous nature. Erma had been employed as a medical secretary for Dr. Fairchild and at Hagerstown Medical Laboratory. Her caring nature flourished in nurturing young minds as a kindergarten teacher at John Wesley United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald Lee Moser, stepmother, Wanda Right, brother, Gordon Right, Jr., and stepson Donald Kelly. She is survived by her son, Donald Grove and his wife, Cathy, and her daughter, Victoria White and her husband, Howard; her two grandchildren, Jason and Benjamin Grove; her two great-grandchildren, Lily and Ava; and her four stepdaughters, Martha Crouse, Tina Buratty, Donna Moser, and Kimberly Turner.

An active participant in the Funkstown Homemakers and the PTA at Broadway School, Erma brought her creative flair to each endeavor. She was a long-standing member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Mont Alto, PA.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Frank Kocek will officiate. A viewing will be held prior to the service at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, from 9-10:45am. Attendees are encouraged to wear bright colors in her remembrance.
