EMMA JOSEPHINE SOCKS, 80, of West Washington Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Friday, May 6, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital. Born November 22, 1924 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Nelson Jack and Elizabeth Clark Conley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Socks, Sr. in 1987. She attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer at the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by one daughter, Joanne Schlotterbeck of Downingtown, Pennsylvania; one son, Jack R. Socks, Jr. of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Jackie Ashby of Hagerstown, Maryland and Judie Lowman of Williamsport, Maryland; one brother, Jon Conley of Hagerstown, Maryland; one granddaughter; five grandsons; seven great granddaughters and two great grandsons; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11:00 a. m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. David B. Kaplan will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p. m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the John R.
