Emma "Libby" Elizabeth Seppala, 91, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Julia Manor Nursing Home. Born September 10, 1926 in WV, she was the daughter of Mervin C. and Ruth N. (Ramsburg) Brown. Emma was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Funkstown, MD. She volunteered 14 years with 8,000 hours of service with Washington County Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Wallace Fred Seppala; son, Kenneth Henry; one sister, Betty Bowers; one grandson, David Henry; and two great grandchildren, Alexandra Henry and Samuel Henry. In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her son, Richard Henry. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Lee Brumback will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, WV.
