ELVIN BRUCE (LITTLE BLACKIE) HUNTSBERGER, 68, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born November 11, 1938 in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Bruce Allen Huntsberger and Corinne Estelle Greenawalt. He was a driver for Thomas Distributing and Murray Distributing Company. He was a member of the Western Maryland Sportsman's Club, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Huntsberger; two daughters, Cheryl Mixter, and Carole Barnhart, both of Hagerstown; one son, Darrell Huntsberger of San Diego, California; one step-daughter, Drista Sowers of Hagerstown; one step-son, Phillip Moon, II of Hagerstown; one sister, Sandra Huntsberger of Ohio; one brother, Gary Huntsberger of Hagerstown; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Saturday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p. m.
