ELSIE THOMAS JONES, 73, of 13827 Cearfoss Pike, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, April 2, 2007 at Charlotte's Home in Maugansville, Maryland. Born December 13, 1933 in Hancock's Bridge, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Augusta Turner. She was a member of the Salem Reformed Church. She was a volunteer with the Salvation Army. She is survived by one daughter, Donna Delauter of Hagerstown; one brother, Glendon Turner of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Shane Sunderland and Darrell Manning of Hagerstown; three great-grandchildren, Erin Manning, Christian Manning and Kaitlyn Manning, neices and nephews and one great-great nephew. She was preceded in death by one brother, Leon Albert Turner, and her longtime companion, Donald C. Jones. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Steve Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
