Elmer Eugene Remsberg, 69, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed away peacefully at Meritus Medical Center on 04/05/2025. He was born on 06/11/1955 in Frederick County, Maryland to Melvin Augustus Remsberg and Violet L. Beachley-Remsberg.

He is proceeded in death by his son, Kevin Remsberg, parents, Melvin and Violet Remsberg, and two brothers, David "Dave" and Augustus Remsberg.

Elmer is survived by his wife, Sherrie Lynn Remsberg, a daughter and her husband and their three children, Regina Remsberg, Troy Westerbur, Cierra, Eve and Racheal Cline, a grandson and his mother, Remington Chase and Lisa Remsberg, and two sisters, Elizabeth "Libby" Blevins and Kimberly Eury and five nieces and nephews and Jannie Remsberg.

For over 50 years, he dedicated his skills to carpentry and crafting custom homes in Maryland and Virginia, and he had recently retired. His passion extended beyond work; he took joy in making beautiful furniture, exploring nature through hunting with his grandson, nurturing his garden, fishing with his grandchildren and mastering the art of small engine repair and restoring older cars. His hands didn't just build homes; they created cherished memories that enriched his life and those around him, leaving a legacy of love and joy.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Remsberg's family asks that donations on his behalf be made to the Shady Grove Community Center, Boy Scouts Troop #95, 2100 Buchanan Trail East, Shady Grove, PA. 17256.

A private service will be held at the family's discretion.
