Ella Mae Finneyfrock, 92, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Ella spent most of her life farming and she especially loved her cows and flowers. She could often be found yardsaling and at public sales – sometimes finding new farm animals to love and nurse back to health. However, most of all she loved being a grandmother and was elated to see a new baby whether it was in her family or yours.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie James, her beloved husband, Baron Cornelius Finneyfrock Sr, her daughter, Debbie C. Brooks, and many brothers and sisters whom she loved dearly.

Ella is survived by her brother, Johnny James, her sons, Baron Cornelius Finneyfrock Jr. (Linda) and Roy Allan Finneyfrock (Kathy), her son-in-law, John Brooks, her grandchildren, Amy Jones (Scott), Baron Finneyfrock (Christy), Wendy Hoke (Ron), Rob Ecker (Dawn), Roy Finneyfrock (Melissa), David Finneyfrock (Rachel), and Aaron Finneyfrock (Kelly), many cherished great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and her great-granddaughters who provided her care to allow her to remain home, Annie Lanham and Alyssa Tetlow.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 1:00pm at Seals Family Cemetery, 5240 Damascus Road in Etchison-Gaithersburg, MD.
