Elizabeth Irene Mullineaux Rohrer, 93, died Thursday, April 21st at Ravenwood Nursing Care Center. Born September 28, 1922, in Mount Airy, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Basil Crawford and Elsie King Mullineaux. She is survived by two sons, Mark B. Rohrer of Santa Monica, California and William H. Rohrer of Hedgesville, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by Robert H. Rohrer, her husband of sixty-three years, and two brothers, Francis and Stanley Mullineaux. She was a graduate of the School of Nursing of the Hospital for the Women of Maryland, now part of the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, becoming a Registered Nurse in 1943. Elizabeth served most of her professional career at Washington County Hospital in a variety of nursing, supervisory, and other patient care positions. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or viewing. A memorial gathering will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown. The deceased requested the omission of flowers.
