ELIZABETH MAE MARTIN, 85, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at NMS Nursing Home. Born December 27, 1925 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Livis V. and Ruth Elizabeth Mowen Martin. She retired from C & P Telephone with thirty-three years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers, Williamsport Redmen #84, Amvets #10 Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post 42 Auxiliary. She is survived by one sister, Jeanne Martin Crawford of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews, Darla Herbold, Randall Hoffman, and wife, Martha, Beverly Williams, Brenda Hoffman, Sharon Martin, and B. Jay martin; and four great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, John W. Martin. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Thom C. Smith will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
