ELAINE MARY SHATZER, 73, of 1015 Spruce Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Friday, June 23, 2006 at her home. Born February 19, 1933 in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Derr and Sadie Elizabeth Huntington Eichelberger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Shatzer. She was retired from Aramark at Citicorp, but came out of retirement to work for Helping Hand Cleaning Service, for the last nineteen months. She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly J. Moats, and Shannon K. Seal, both of Hagerstown; five brothers, R. D. Eichelberger, Don Eichelberger, Billy Eichelberger, Terry Eichelberger, and Bobby Eichelberger, all of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Brian Lissefeld, Danielle Payne, and Tyler Moats, all of Hagerstown; and one great-grandson, Nathan Payne of Hagerstown. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. George A. Limmer will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
