Edwin Wildey Taylor, Jr., 63, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on June 9, 2024, at his home.

Born January 14, 1961, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Edwin Wildey and Marie Gladys (Smith) Taylor.

Edwin was the owner of Taylored Landscaping, retiring after 28 years.

He was a trustee at the Hagerstown Elks Lodge No. 378, a member of Centreville No. 180 AF & AM, The Scottish Rite, Boumi Temple and ROJ. He enjoyed being a clown with the

Shriners along with being an Ambassador and Past Commodore of Boumi Yacht Club. He was a Past Grand Tall Cedar of Hagerstown Forest #95 and Past Commodore of Kent Narrows Yacht club. He was a member of South Mountain Rod & Gun Club, the Funkstown American Legion Sons of the Legion, Goodwill Ambassadors (Little Club) and North American Rod and Gun Club.

Ed enjoyed playing golf and boating on the Chester River. During the winter he participated in various turkey shoots.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Barbara L. Taylor (Lashley); his brother, David C. Taylor; his in-laws, Cathy Vaughn and her husband, David Taylor; his mother-in-law, Ann E. Lashley; his father-in-law, George E. Lashley; numerous cousins, "brothers", and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 7pm on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Melissa Dillman will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 2-4pm and 5-7pm. There will be an Elks service at 6pm and a Masonic service will be held at 6:30pm.
