Edwin Leroy Nigh, Sr., 89, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born September 9, 1932 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Charles and Martha (DeLauter) Nigh. He loved his family, riding motorcycles, being outdoors, hiking, and spending time in his workshop. He was a grateful friend of Bill W. for 45 years. Edwin is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joyce Nigh; two sons, Lee Nigh, Jr. (wife, Sallie) and Tony Nigh (wife, Karen); daughter, Evelyn McCleary; three grandchildren, Robert Wolford II, Kristen Adkins, and Joshua Irvin; three great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hepler, Xavier McMillon, and Kayla McMillon; one brother, Richard E. Nigh; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jenny Karn, and two brothers, Paul E. Nigh and Howard Nigh. A Gathering of Friends will be held at 2pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
