Edward Joseph Raley, 75, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on April 26, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on March 31, 1949, in Frostburg, MD, he was the son of the late William Edward and Genevieve Mary (Layman) Raley.

Edward graduated from Beall High School. He went on to work at Mack Truck and Dewey Jordan.

He loved his Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, but not more than his family, especially his wife, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by a loving family that includes his daughter, Ranae Ahmadian; sons, Jason and Brent Raley; granddaughter, Autumn Raley; grandsons, Garrett Raley and Justin Ahmadian; great-grandson, LJ Miller; and great-granddaughter, Brielle Uhler. He also leaves behind his sister, Geraldine Ultis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paulette Raley; siblings, Betty Jane Fresh, Gladys Warfle, Paul Raley, and William Rice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
