EDNA GLADYS RENN, 92, of 16114 Spade Road, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Julia Manor Nursing Home in Hagerstown. Born February 3, 1917 in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Ross Calvin and Anna Mae Carpenter Harbaugh. She was employed at Fairchild Aircraft during World War II, and worked at the L'Aiglon garment factory, until retirement in 1979. She is survived by her son, Edward R. Renn, and wife Dixie, of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Michael E. Renn of Downsville, Maryland, and Deborah L. Lesher, and husband Brian, of Clear Spring, Maryland; one sister, Pauline Feigley of Hagerstown; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Elaine Presgraves, and two brothers, Earl Harbaugh and Russell Harbaugh. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
