Earl Eugene Tosten, 75, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at his home.

Born October 19, 1949, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Earl Junior and Nellie Alice Tosten.

Earl was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a member and acting treasurer of the Amvets Post 38 in Falling Waters, WV and a lifetime member of the VFW.

He retired from the State of Maryland as a K9 Officer with MHC in Jessup.

Earl is survived by his daughters, Kristena Matthews and Misty Dawn; his son, Brandyn Tosten, and wife, Alyssa; his granddaughters, Brittany Gosey, and husband, CJ, and Ava Tosten; his grandson, Tayshon Matthews; three great-grandchildren, Khali, Kendrix, and Kennadi Gosey; and his brother, Larry Tosten.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Tiheen Justice Nathaniel Matthews, Jr.; his son-in-law, Tiheen Matthews; and his great-grandson, Clinton Gosey III.

A graveside service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, 14205 Pleasant Valley Rd NE, Flintstone, MD.

A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 6-8pm.
