Dwane Edward Smith, 56, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at his home.

Born April 27, 1968, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Allen and Maude Sharon (Brown) Smith.

Dwane was a co-owner of EZ Movin'. He also worked as a truck driver and at Weiss Bros.

He was a sports fanatic and coached at West End Little League for several years. He was also an outdoor enthusiast.

Dwane is survived by his wife, Shilo Smith; three children, Dustin Ecton and wife, Kristin, Brett Smith and companion, Danielle Vailonis, and Lexi Hoeltje and husband, Brent; and eight grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jason Smith and Chad Smith.

A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm with guests being invited to speak at 7pm.
