DOUGLAS RAY SWOPE, 54, of 16904 Warbler Court, Hagerstown died Monday, June 11 at his home. Born December 9, 1952 in Waynesboro, PA he is the son of Dorothy Jane Reigle Lidie of Hagerstown. He was formerly employed at Hydro-Conduit for 30 years, also Dual Lanes since the age of 16 and also K Mart Distribution Center in Chambersburg, PA. He was an avid bowler and bowled in leagues at the Dual Lanes. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Rae Swope of Baltimore, MD; twin sister, Deborah Dagenhart of Hagerstown and sisters Bonnie Wilson of Martinsburg, WV, Susy Swope of Hagerstown and Trudy Cummings of Greencastle, PA; a brother, Joseph D. Swope Jr. of Boonsboro; step father, Arvin Lidie; 3 nephews, 2 nieces; and a close friend, Janet Staubs. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday at 10:00am at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Ron Faith officiating. There will be no viewing. Arrangements by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.
