DOROTHY LOUISE WILLIAR, 89, formerly of Hagerstown, MD departed this life Friday, November 18, 2016 at her home in Greensburg, KY. Born November 4, 1927 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Sarah Bartles Stottlemyer. Dorothy was a graduate of the class of 1945 at Hagerstown High School. She worked at Fairchild Industries, WF Prior Publishing Co. and retired from Danzer Metal Works. Dorothy was a member of the Church of the Brethren Hagerstown, MD. She is survived by three daughters, Darlene Shoemaker of Greencastle, PA, Brenda Clinton of Mercersburg, PA, and Cindy Williar and husband Keith Morgan of Greensburg, KY; one son, Fred Williar, Jr and wife, Paula of Warrenton, Va.; two sisters, Mary Catherine Cameron of Muscle Shoals, AL and Betty Jane Witmer of Greencastle, PA; one brother, Roger Lee Stottlemyer of Hagerstown, MD; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Burton Williar, Sr. and two brothers, Paul Clinton Stottlemyer and Robert Arnold Stottlemyer. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am, Friday, November 25, 2016, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Hagerstown, MD. A graveside service will be held immediately following visitation at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Chip Jones will officiate.
