DOROTHY MARIE SEAL, 86, formerly of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at NHC Nursing Home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Born January 12, 1924 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Gladys M. Shank Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, Earl Eugene Seal. She was previously employed with Dorbee Manufacturing. Dorothy was a member of Concord Baptist Church in North Carolina. She was a former member of Washington Square United Methodist Church in Hagerstown, MD. She is survived by two sons, Dennis K. Seal and his wife, Martha of Surfside Beach, SC their son, Brian and Larry E. Seal and his wife, Sharon, their son, Steven of Hagerstown, MD.; step-sister, Catherine Garling; step-brother, Paul Willis. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Cooper. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD from 6 to 8 p.m..
