Dorothy Virginia McClung, 97, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away January 11, 2026, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born May 24, 1928, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late David Augusta and Pearl (Hott) House.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Sensenbaugh, and her second husband, Warren McClung.

Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found joy in cooking.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Leroy Sensenbaugh and wife, Cindy, and John W. Sensenbaugh; daughter-in-law, Jan Sensenbaugh: seven grandchildren, Sheri Klinger, Christopher Sensenbaugh, Jeffrey Sensenbaugh, Dawn Sweitzer, Travis Sensenbaugh, Jason Sensenbaugh, and Megan Sensenbaugh; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Moore and Tempe Swope.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph E. Sensenbaugh; two sisters, Erma Snyder and Thelma German; three brothers, Harry House, Leroy House, and Donald House; and daughter-in-law, Cynthia Sensenbaugh.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Jonathan Laye will officiate.
