DOROTHY JANE ARENOBINE, 79, formerly of Clinton Ave. Hagerstown, MD died Monday, July 18 at Reeders Nursing Home in Boonsboro, MD. Born April 8, 1926 in Wallington, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Henry Anthony and Elsie May Walters Vis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Joseph Arenobine, January 21, 1992. She was a member of Valley Grace Brethren Church. She retired from Harper and Row Publishers in 1988 and was formerly a member of the Halfway Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Rev. Robert D. Arenobine of Ft. Wayne, IN. and Thomas J. Arenobine of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Jodi Arenobine of Ft. Wayne, IN. and Jill Jennings, Auburn, IN. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry J. Vis and Edward Vis. Services will be held Thursday, 11:00am at Valley Grace Brethren Church, 17310 Gay St., Hagerstown with Rev. Robert D. Arenobine and Rev. Daniel J. Pritchett officiating. Burial to be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, MD. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 7:00-9:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd..
