Doris "Pee Wee" Elaine Hose, 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at home. Born April 23, 1935 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Hubert "Pete" E. and Mary Louise (Sneckenberger) Bagent. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey M. Hose, and companion, Harry Koontz. Doris previously worked at Hagerstown Shoe Company. She retired from Washington County Hospital as a nursing assistant. She was a former member of TOPS Club. She was an avid Orioles fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. Doris is survived by two daughters, Melissa Lake of Hagerstown and Linda Mowen of Chambersburg; stepdaughter, Paula Snyder and her family of Williamsport; stepson, Harvey G. Hose and wife Brenda and family, of Michigan, granddaughters, Holly Luther and husband Jim of Sharpsburg, Sasha Munro of Chambersburg, grandsons, Aaron Lake and wife Tara of Waynesboro and Andrew Mowen of Chambersburg. Great grandchildren, Courtney, Zachary, Addison, Ansley, McKenna, Elijah, Cordelia and Kurtis. Numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Melody Hose Robey, a granddaughter she raised as her own. Also loving best friends Pat Magaha and J.R. In addition to her parents, husband, and companion Doris was preceded in death by her infant son, Andrew Martin Hose; sister, Janet L. Socks; and step granddaughter Jamie Waid. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2020, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD 21740. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
