DORIS MAY GIPE, 91, of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Williamsport Retirement Village. Born August 21, 1923 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Charles and Bessie Ann Smith Hahn Jr. She was a member of Washington Square United Methodist Church. Doris is preceded in death by her husband, George William Gipe, Sr. who died March 19, 1973; and a grandson, Donald Lee Gipe, Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Keyton of Clear Spring; three sons, George Gipe Jr., Donald Lee Gipe Sr. both of Hagerstown, and Jeff Gipe, Sr. of Waynesboro, PA; one sister, Ruth Hahn of Williamsport; two brothers, Joe Hahn and Arthur Hahn; nine grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
