DORIS VIRGINIA CORSI, 78, of 33 Richmond Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Previously Doris, and her husband James, lived in Tucson, Arizona for twenty-three years. Born December 19, 1929 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Helen Henry Palmer. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, James J. Corsi on March 7, 2004. Doris is survived by her daughter, Dina M. Corsi of Arlington, Virginia; son, Frank H. Corsi of Hagerstown; one brother, Edward Palmer, wife Lois ("Sis"), and family of Hagerstown; one granddaughter, Lydia Corsi and her brother, Andrew Mills, of Hagerstown; brother-in-law, Frank Corsi, Jr., wife Sandy, and family of Hagerstown; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Gene "Peggy" Corsi, and family of Hagerstown. She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Palmer; and five brothers, Eldon Palmer, Richard Palmer, Robert Palmer, James Palmer and Ronald Palmer. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown. Rev. George A. Limmer will officiate. Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown on Friday from 6 to 8 p. m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Williamsport Retirement Village, Life Enrichment Department, 154 N. Artizan Street, Williamsport, Maryland 21795, in memory of Doris Corsi.
