Donna Jean Spigler, formerly of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Hebrew Home of Greater Washington in Rockville, MD.

She was born on October 27, 1944, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Roland Snyder and Virginia Shirley. Donna was an active and committed member of Grace United Methodist Church for most of her life, proudly volunteering as a Sunday school teacher and providing comfort to fellow homebound parishioners.

Donna spent more than three decades serving as a medical transcriptionist for Washington County Hospital. She was an active part of her son's education, encouraging his academic success and chaperoning virtually every field trip, concert or other school event that she could.

She is survived by her son, Michael Spigler; daughter-in-law, Kate Spigler; stepson, Harold "Moe" Spigler, Jr.; half-sister, Nancy Muritz; and her cherished grandchildren, Hannah and Liam Spigler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Spigler and her grandparents, William and Elizabeth Henson, whom she lovingly cared for during their final years.

The family will be having a private remembrance ceremony at Greenlawn Cemetery in Williamsport, MD, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Harold.
