Donna Kay Nalley, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Born March 3, 1944 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry Smith II and the late Helen (Hamburg) Palladino.

Donna was a 1962 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, and then attended Hagerstown Junior College. She received her Insurance Agent Certification in 1976.  She retired after 45 years of being an insurance specialist at Baker Insurance. She grew up as a devout Catholic with St. Mary's Catholic Church and was baptized with Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by two brothers, Lewis Palladino (wife, Shirley) and Gene Smith (wife, Brenda); sister-in-law, A. Carolyn Smith; three nieces who live locally, Amy Smith Farmer, Alexis Palladino Reed, and Sabrina Smith; an additional niece, Martina Beebe; nephews, Clayton, Christopher, Craig, and Ryan Smith, Michael Brody, and Steven Smith; and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Nalley, whom she married in 2001, and he passed in 2005; stepfather, Angelo Palladino; sister, Marlene Smith Brody; and brother, Harry Victor Smith.

The Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am on June 7, 2023 with Pastor Roger Larsen officiating, at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 11507 Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown, MD 21742. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery proceeding the service at 2pm.
