Donna Kay Kershner, 64, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her home. Born July 3, 1952 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Alfred (Gismo) Preston Guessford and Violet Marie (Myers) Cramer. Donna was a graduate from North Hagerstown High School. She was employed with First Data for 17 years, and previously employed with Washington County Hospital. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and American Legion Auxiliary Post 202. Donna is survived by her husband, Irvin L. Kershner; two sons, James Kershner and wife, Melissa, and Robert (Robbie) Kershner and wife, Julie; two granddaughters, Alexis Kershner and Gracelyn Kershner; three grandsons, Mitchel Kershner, Kyle Adkins and Tyler Adkins; two sisters, Dawn M. Young and husband, Ivan, and Genevieve (Susie) Androvich and husband, Jamie; one brother, Russell O. Guessford and wife, Ellen; special cousin, Kitty Seekford; mother-in-law, Betty Crawford; special friends, Ronnie and Helen Paul; and many Crawford family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary W. Guessford. Services will be held 11am Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Don Kretzer will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 7 to 9pm.
