Donald Vindivich, of Hagerstown, MD and formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 on his 68th birthday at Hearthstone Retirement Home after a lengthy courageous battle with corticobasal degeneration.

Born June 13, 1955 in Tokyo, Japan, Donald was the first son of the late Nick G. Vindivich, Sr. and Tamako (Nakamura) Vindivich.

Donald graduated from Dundalk Senior High School in 1973 and from Towson University in 1977 with a BS in Biology and spent 40+ years in various positions in cancer research at Johns Hopkins Brady Urological Institute.

Donald is survived by brothers Mark A. Vindivich and wife, Kelli and Nick G. Vindivich, Jr. and wife, Brenda and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Hearthstone Retirement Home for their genuine compassionate and professional care.
