DONALD LEE SWEIGERT, 52, of Hancock, Maryland, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Born May 27, 1962 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Linda Sweigert Bohrer and the late Donald Sweigert, Sr. Donald did peace work for Goodwill Industries at Prospect and Church Streets location. Donald belonged to ARC of Washington County and a member of Washington County Special Olympics. In addition to his mother and step-father, Gary Bohrer, he is survived by one sister, Christian Caudle and husband, Robert; two step-sisters, Charla Weaver and husband, Jim and Jenny Scriever; one niece, Jennifer Caudle and one nephew, Nathan Caudle. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Harold and Pauline Mulllendore and paternal grandparents, Gorman and Ruth Betts. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Hancock United Methodist Church, 170 West Main Street, Hancock, MD. The Rev. Michael Bynum and Pastor Duane Jenson will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.
