DONALD LEE PENTZ, SR., 72, of 829 Lanvale Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at his home. Born April 3, 1933 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Clem Pentz. He graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1952. He was employed with the Western Maryland Railroad for thirty years. He is survived by his wife, Grace Dunkin Pentz, whom he married on June 28, 1953; one daughter, Donna Kay Sales of Hagerstown; one son, Donald Lee Pentz, II of Hagerstown; one sister, Marian Long of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Ann Rowland; and one brother, Richard Pentz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Dean Pryor will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m.
