Obituary

Donald Amedio Forcino, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at Doey's House.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary-Ann Forcino; his son, Nick Forcino; his granddaughter, Shawntelle Forcino; and his great-grandson, Camren Livengood. Donald is now reunited in heaven with his parents, Mildred and Amedio Forcino, and his son, Joe Forcino.

Donald attended South Hagerstown High School and proudly served in the Navy. He dedicated 29 years of his career to Eastalco in Frederick, Maryland, where he held several union o􀆯ices, including president of USW Local 7886. His commitment to the labor movement continued as an organizer and legislative representative for the United Steelworkers International Union District 8.

Donald's life was guided by his unwavering faith in God, his deep love for his family, and his dedication to the union. He will be remembered for his strong principles, his tireless work ethic, and his compassionate spirit.

A memorial service will be held to honor Donald's life and legacy 11am on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Christ Lutheran Church, 216 N. Cleveland Ave, Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Richard Kittle will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 6-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Hagerstown, MD and Doey's House/ Hospice of Washington County, 1710 Underpass Way, Suite 300, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
