DONALD LEE EWING, JR. of Williamsport, MD, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center. Born September 2, 1947 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Ruth Marie Kesecker and Donald Lee Ewing, Sr. Donald graduated from South Hagerstown High School with the class of 1965. He worked at Grove Manufacturing for 11 years. Donald retired from MCI where he worked for 24 years as a correctional officer. His family was his life, cherishing every moment with them. Donald is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pauline Ewing; three sons, James Ewing and wife Crystal, Robert Ewing and wife Teresa, and Christopher Ewing and wife Brandy; five grandchildren, James Ewing, Jr, Kayla Ewing, Mackenzie Ewing, Austin Ewing, and Jarred Ewing; and mother-in-law, Mary Smith. A gathering of friends will be held Friday, June 6, 2014 from 6 to 8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
