Donald “Donnie” Leroy Gordon, 87, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, July 12, 2026, at Somerford Assisted Living.

Born June 27, 1939, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Bernard Leroy and Edna Mae (Kennell) Gordon.

Donnie was a 1957 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving until 1967. He retired from Mack Trucks following many years of dedicated service.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Gordon.

Donnie is lovingly remembered by his two sons, Anthony “Scott” Gordon and Brian Gordon; his sister, Connie Mozingo; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery with Hospice Chaplain Dean Pryor officiating.
