Donald Albertus Beaver, 89, of Hagerstown, MD, passed on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

Don was born July 1, 1933, in Hagerstown, MD, to Park Omar and Thelma Pearl Beaver.

He was a graduate of The Warton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Many remember the Manbeck Bread Company in Hagerstown, which was co-owned by Don and his father. Don later went on to become a pillar in the commercial real estate community of Hagerstown. He served his community through Rotary Club and by serving on the Board of Directors for Fountain Head country Club. He always enjoyed playing and following the sports of football and golf. He and his wife, Sally, enjoyed traveling, hosting dinner parties, and entertaining family and friends in their home.

Don was predeceased by his wonderful wife, Sally Smith Beaver, and his eldest son, Donny Jr.

He is survived by his son, Douglas Vandorn Beaver; daughter, Elizabeth Tracy Mecozzi married to Nick Mecozzi; grandson, Troy Beaver married to Jessica Beaver; granddaughter, Jessica Green married to Corey Green; and great-grandchildren, Halie and Cooper Green and Benjamin and Alexander Beaver.
