DOLLY MAYBELLE CROSS, 91, of 14019 Village Mill Drive, Maugansville, Maryland, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born September 1, 1915 in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Alice Weller Robison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald W. Cross in 1975. She was retired from Hagerstown Shoe Company where she was employed for fifty years. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Rohrer of Hagerstown, Jane Gates of Clearbrook, Virginia, and Agatha Howell of Leitersburg, Maryland; one sister, Aretta Nuss of Hagerstown; two brothers, Max Robison, and Carl Robison, both of Hagerstown; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Gerald E. Cross, Paul R. Cross, and Robert L. Cross; one sister, Lottie Wilderman; and two brothers, Lloyd Robison, and Merle Robison. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. David Brosnan will officiate. Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a. m.
