Diane Marie Mong, 71, of Berkeley Springs, WV, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at her home. Born December 29, 1948 in Mt. Union, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bernice (Heidler) Fazenbaker. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, George V. Mong III. Diane loved her job as a home health nurse. She loved quilting and reading. She enjoyed having coffee with her family and friends and loved her church, Airborne Church in Martinsburg. Diane is survived by her three sons, Christopher Mong (Nicole), Patrick Mong (Serena), and Jason Mong (Kristine); one sister, Melissa Harman; two brothers, David Fazenbaker and Paul Fazenbaker; two grandons; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11am Monday, December 7, 2020, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD. Pastors Kevin and Beth Green will officiate. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2020, from 11am to 4pm. The family will be there to greet friends from 2 to 4pm. Masks and social distancing are required.
