Denton "Denny" Lee McCauley, 79, of Williamsport, Maryland, died on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center, after a long battle with mastocytosis. Born February 1,1939 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Donald M. and Rose G. Moore McCauley. He graduated from Saint Goretti High School, served in the Air Force, and was employed by FEMA as a communications specialist in Virginia where he served and retired with over 35 years of service. He was a member of Saint Marys Catholic Church in Hagerstown where he did volunteer work. He is survived by three sisters, Patricia A. Smith of Martinsburg, WV, Darlene M. Yetter of Hagerstown, MD, and Linda L. Bonds of Waynesboro, PA, and his son Michael J. McCauley of Williamsport, MD. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth J. McCauley. Following Dennys wishes, there will be no viewing. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 10:30 am at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 224 W.
