Dennis Harold Evans, 78, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

Born August 14, 1946, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Harold Elwood and Dorothy Eileen (Bowen) Evans.

Dennis graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1964. He proudly served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at MacDill Air Force Base, FL. He was a transportation manager in the trucking industry until retirement in 2005.

He was a member of the Goodwill Athletic Club ("Little Club"), the Williamsport Red Men Tribe #84, and the Williamsport American Legion Post 202. An avid golfer, Dennis also found great joy in music. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.

Dennis is lovingly remembered by his wife, Denise Marie Evans; his son, Brian Evans and his partner, Lisa Allen; his daughter, Kari Rager and her husband, Paul; and his stepdaughter, Alicia Jones. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Clay Seibert, Alexis Evans and fiancé, Tyler Walling, Nicholas Evans, and Aaliyah Alexander; great-grandchild, Remy Walling; his sister, Sheron Evans; and his brothers, Richard Evans and his wife, Nina, and Jeffrey Evans.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son's wife, Sheri (Woods) Evans.

Burial will be private.
