Ms. Denise D'Andra Smith "De De", 62, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Meritus Medical Center. De De was born in Hagerstown, MD on June 9, 1954; daughter of Mrs. Cynthia Shepard and the late Mr. Ralph Beckett. De De is survived by three daughters, Katrina Lowry, Rhonda Gundy, and Andreana Hernandez; son-in-law, Cristian Hernandez; five grandchildren, Rumeal Smith, Andre Thomas, Jr., Nino Smith, Xavier Dawson, and Genesis Hernandez; and four great grandchildren, Melec, Jahlyl, Ouija, and Kinsley. De De is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, Jonathan Smith, Gilbert Beckett, Toni Gaines, and Janice Walker; and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert A. Scott, Sr., Clinton Beckett; and three sisters, Victoria Smith, Patricia Smith, and Carla Smith. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Minnich Funeral Home on Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown, MD.
