Delores Jean Davy, 82, of Hagerstown, MD, and formerly of Cumberland, MD, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Doey's House.

Born June 18, 1940, in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Donald and Virginia Alberta (Poffenberger) Mitchell.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walter Davy Jr.

Delores was a volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital, Hospice Unit, in Cumberland, for many years. She was also a volunteer at Western Maryland Foodbank.

She was a member of First Christian Church, Hagerstown.

Delores is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia J. Foore and husband, Robert N., and Denise K. Bingaman and husband, Eric A.; grandchildren, Kayla D. Trout and husband, Devin P., Robert C. Foore, Benjamin A. Foore, and Amelia L. Foore; one great grandchild, Bryleigh A. Trout; and sister, Mary Ann Faulders.

The funeral will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at First Christian Church, 1345 Potomac Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742. Rev. Dr. David T. Britt will officiate.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 10901 Mason Rd NE, Cumberland, MD 21502.
