DELLA LOUISE MAPHIS, 73, of 252 South Mulberry Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at her home. Born May 14, 1938, in Keedysville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Anna Mae Roher Eaton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lee Maphis on October 31, 1984. She was a volunteer at Greensburg Farm Market. She is survived by her loving companion of twenty-six years, Donald Yingling; two daughters, Linda Lee Maphis, and Carolyn Maphis, both of Hagerstown; one son, David Maphis, and wife, Marcella, of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, David Maphis, Jr., and wife, Jessica, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; Tori Law, and husband, Dewayne, and Lorretta Webber, and husband, Isma, both of Hagerstown; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Carol Maphis Brown, one sister, Anna Mae Harden, and four brothers, Donald Eaton, Robert Eaton, Richard Eaton, and Lester Eaton. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a. m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Pastor Leon Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Keedysville, Maryland. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m.
