Obituary

DEBRA MAE YOUNG-DELLINGER, 51, of St. Augustine, Florida, and formerly of Williamsport, Maryland, passed away on June 28, 2006 at Baptist Hospital South in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hagerstown, Maryland, and attended Celebration Lutheran Church in Jacksonville. Debbie was born on February 17, 1955 in Hagerstown, Maryland at Washington County Hospital, and graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1973. She worked as a dental assistant with Dr. Michael Anderson, Dr. Richard Porac, and Allegany Dental in Hagerstown. Her most recent position was office manager at St. Johns Dental with Dr. John Joyner in Jacksonville. She taught aerobics at the YMCA, Fitness Priority, and Southpoint Gym in Hagerstown, as well as multiple locations in the Jacksonville area. She is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Blaine Dellinger; son, Christopher, and his wife, Carley; son, Michael; and daughter, Lindsay. She is also survived by her parents Erma M. Buhrman-Leedy and Kenneth Leedy Jr., and A. S. "Boots" Young; sisters, Nanette, her husband, Ron Pfeiffer; Kendra, her husband, Rick Scharenbroch; mother-in-law, Margaret Dellinger; sister-in-law, Anita, her husband, Ed Buchanan; as well as three nephews, one niece, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be held at MINNICH FUNERAL HOME on Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown, Maryland on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 11:00am with Rev. Robert C. Lehman officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, 7:00-9:00pm at the funeral home.
