Deborah Maureena (Thomas) Clifford left this Earth on the morning of February 3, 2026, to be with her Heavenly Father.  She was born April 17, 1950, to her parents, Robert John Thomas Sr. and Cathleen Yeager.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, William Daniel Clifford.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who raised multiple generations of her family, including those she adopted. She enjoyed sewing and crafting, and especially loved movie nights with her grandchildren. A former nurse, she went above and beyond to care for others.

She is survived by her daughters, Heather Clifford and Leslie Martin (Clifford); her grandchildren, Christopher Clifford, Kevin Armstrong, and Taylor Myers; her son-in-law, Derrick Martin; her adopted son, Carlton Metcalfe, and his son, Daniel Metcalfe; along with many siblings, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery, 19229 Shepherdstown Pike, Keedysville, MD 21756. A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 6:00-8:00pm.
