Deborah Cora Brooks, 63, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025 at Meritus Medical Center.  Born March 25, 1962 in Olney, MD, she was the daughter of Ellamae (James) Finneyfrock and the late Barron Cornelius Finneyfrock, Sr.

She attended Poolesville High School, and took pride in being a truck driver for 32 years with F.O. Day Company.

Deborah found joy in planting flowers, filling her home with them, and sharing them as thoughtful gifts. She also cherished her turtles, birds, and dogs. Family trips to the beach were among her favorite moments, and she absolutely adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of eight years, John Brooks; daughter, Amy Jones and husband, Scott; son, Aaron Finneyfrock and wife, Kelly; six grandchildren, Anastasia, Caitlyn, Alyssa, Kobe, Savannah, and Jameson; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Amiyah; two brothers, Barron Finneyfrock, Jr and Allen Finneyfrock; niece, Wendy; and four nephews, Barron, Rob, Roy, and David.

A viewing will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Kimber Meadows, 16204 National Pike, Hagerstown, MD.
