DEBBIE JEAN LONG, 51, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Julia Manor Heath Center. Born July 23, 1963 in Bethesda, MD, she was the daughter of Bessie Irene Murray Ayers and the late Ballard Ayers, Jr. Debbie was a member of Calvary Temple. She was previously employed with McDonalds for 15 years. Debbie will always be remembered for her caring and forgiving heart. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert Long; two brothers, Daniel Wayne Ayers, Sr. of Hagerstown, and William Gordon Swisher of West Palm Beach, FL; two nieces, Michelle Ayers and Juliet Swisher; two nephews, Daniel Wayne Ayers, Jr. and Brian Swisher; and several great nieces and great nephews. Services will be held 11am, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Shanktown Cemetery in Big Pool, MD. The family will receive friends Monday from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
