Dean Michael Boggs, 64, of Williamsport, MD, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Doey's House. Born in Panama on December 27, 1956, he was the son of the late Carl and Elsa (Schachtner) Boggs. Dean loved wood working, sailing trips on his sailboat, golfing, talking on the ham radio, and his Harley motorcycle. He was very involved as Parish Council President and Lector at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cindy Boggs; daughter, Jenn Sword (husband, Zach); son, Chris Boggs (wife, Katie); and four grandchildren, Gage, Zoey, Bristol, and Ryker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 17630 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, MD. Father Angel Marrero will be celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, located in Williamsport, MD. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, June 9th at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Doey's House, 11370 Caring Pathway Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
